Christopher Hunter is an actor, writer and director known for Formula 51 (2001), Maurice (1987) and Mr Selfridge (2013). He has played leading roles with the National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company. He was born in Plymouth, Devon, UK and he has been married to actor and theatre producer Hilary Townley since 1984. They have two sons and they live in London.
